Did you know that there is a 20.66 acre rhyolite mining claim right under our ski lifts here at Kirkwood?
Get a small group together and don't miss this unusual opportunity to join some of its owners for a hike from the base up to the top of Chair 2 and back as you learn more about this fascinating bit of local history!
You'll also be treated to coffee and muffins by the creek and receive June Somerville's book "Legend of a Road" in which she wrote abour her time over four decades as the proprietor of the Kirkwood Inn and original claimant of the mining rights.
Mutually agreed upon date during the summer or fall of 2021 (morning preferable). Maximum of six guests.

Plan to pick up the items you won on Sunday, July 4, 2021 between the hours of 9 am to 11 am. The location for Curbside Pick-up is 33540 Loop Road at the Community Services Building.
Auction items containing alcohol must be picked up no later than July 15, 2021. Please bring your ID when picking these up.
If you are not in Kirkwood your items will be stored at the Community Services Building until September 4, 2021. Please email JGillies@kmpud.com to arrange for a date and time for pick up.
Small items such as Gift Cards will be mailed to you at your residence address after July 5, 2021.
