Item Description

Personal, Purposeful and Private sessions with a Veriditas Faculty Member

This year, Veriditas Faculty Members are each offering a special individualized 30 – 60 minute session with a winning bidder via Zoom.

Of course, each one brings a unique set of interests and perspectives to their work. Maybe you share an interest and would like to incorporate new ideas to your own practice of work. Or, maybe you attended a Friday walk or webinar and want to learn more about something you heard. Perhaps you have ideas you’d like to develop further. This is your time and your topic. The faculty bios will also give you a great place to start thinking about what your session might be.

The faculty member will connect with her/his winning bidder to schedule a 30-60 minute Zoom session on the topic chosen by that bidder after the close of the auction. When you meet, your faculty member will hold space and help you make the most of your time and this personal connection. Topic suggestions are listed below, though you're also welcome to create your own topic as well.

FACULTY MEMBER:Maggie Perrone

Topic Suggestions/Additional Note from Faculty Member:

My area of expertise is the spirituality of the labyrinth. I do a lot of work in healing and coping so perhaps how to use the labyrinth in a myriad of ways as one is walking through their every day lives.

Faculty Bio:

Maggie Perrone, executive director of GenuineJourneys, has over 30 years experience teaching and healing those in difficult emotional, spiritual and physical situations. Along with being a mother of three and an emergency room nurse for most of the last twenty years in a university trauma center, a community hospital in Southern California, and experience practicing in a research oncology clinic as a chemotherapy infusion nurse, she has walked with people in some of life’s most critical moments.

She is director of a theology program and head of the labyrinth ministry at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church. She has taught theology and led many contemplative prayer retreats.  She has presented on a variety of topics to health care providers, people in ministry, support groups, women’s, and church and youth groups of all faith traditions.  In these workshops, Maggie has shared her unique ability to aid those present in a journey to hearing their own inner voice by teaching and using many differing spiritual tools including the labyrinth.

She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Pastoral Ministry from St. John's Seminary in Camarillo, California.  Her concentration during her time of study included theology, philosophy and inner spirituality.

Item Special Note
