You'll stay at the remodeled Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa, which offers more amenities than any other hotel in Mammoth Lakes. Located Downtown on Old Mammoth Road, the resort features three excellent restaurants providing fresh homemade cuisine from beneath the sea, the Far East, and right at home. You'll also find Black Tie Ski Rentals onsite providing ski and snowboard rentals, a relaxing pool, whirlpool, and fire pit. If you feel like venturing off the premises, you'll find yourself within walking distance of fine dining, shopping, alpine lakes, and a short drive to Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. Surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in North America, the Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa is only minutes from Devils Postpile National Monument, Convict Lake, Crowley Lake, Mono Lake and Yosemite National Park.

Currently a family-owned property, the hotel was originally built in 1967 by Jerry Buss, a major real estate developer and owner of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team. It quickly became the place to stay and a favorite getaway for many Hollywood stars. If only walls could talk! They'd surely be telling stories of John Wayne, the “Rat Pack” and Jerry Lewis hanging out in Duke’s Bar, cracking jokes, and drinking scotch until the wee hours of the morning.
