Item Description
22” x 29” Bird / tree of life pictorial weaving from the 1980’s. It shows traditional Navajo ceremonial basket at the base with sacred corn coming up from that giving cherished life to everything on the Navajo reservation. The birds are celebrating that by flying around the corn. This was made in one small village called Cedar Ridge, north of Flagstaff. The appraisal of value is provided by Terry DeWald, a member of the Antique Tribal Art Dealers Association.
