Brady Smith, a Texas native, started acting ten years ago after moving to Los Angeles. Soon after arriving, he landed a series regular role on the pilot, Courting Alex: Everything I Know About Men (2006). He has appeared on numerous television shows, including White Collar (2009), Harry's Law (2011), Bones (2005), The Jensen Project, ER, CSI: Miami, NCIS, The Mentalist and Castle. Brady's creative talent emerged at the age of three when he sat next to his father at a drafting table. With a pencil in hand, he drew. Today, his art goes far beyond a lead pencil. His work can be perceived as anything from modern to abstract. His current style conveys a new and exciting technique that surfaced through expressionist experimentation. His work embodies a unique vibrant and festive feel. His art has been featured in publications including Orange Coast Magazine, Texas Monthly, Surfing Magazine and Inside Houston. He has done illustration and design work for several clients including American Express, Nabisco, Make-a-Wish Foundation and Lupus foundation.
Brady's journey into the art realm officially began by earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. After college, he lived and worked throughout Europe for six months, building his fascination and appreciation for the many cultures outside the U.S. Recently, his curiosity about the Alaskan wilderness led him to the North Pole and back.
Brady has studied for the last several years at Playhouse West, the renowned acting studio founded by Jeff Goldblum and Robert Carnegie. In addition to acting, he enjoys surfing, writing, painting, and is an avid shark diver. He currently resides in LA with his wife, Tiffani Thiessen and his two children.
