Item Description

Here we offer a 1927 4-string Tenor Guitar produced by C.F. Martin & Company, serial #32929. The mahogany case has its original finish, play wear to the top. The guitar is in fair condition with one very thin top crack that appears very stable. No evidence of any repair work. Three Grover tuners are original to the instrument, one has been replaced but is period corrrect. Recently restrung at The Music Emporium in Lexington, MA. Tuned in 5ths presently, but can be tuned to match the top four strings of the guitar (low-to-high: DGBE).
Ian Goldstein of The Music Emporium says, "This is a lovely sounding example of a 1920s-vintage Martin mahogany tenor."
