Item Description
Enjoy a two-night stay in the King Philip Suite at the Inn at Mount Hope Farm. Not only is the Farm on the National Register of Historic Places, but they are also an accredited arboretum with beautiful gardens, walking trails to the shoreline, and, of course, farm animals.
The King Philip Suite is located in the historic Governor Bradford House, built in 1745 by a wealthy merchant and visited by George Washington in 1790. The interior, with its glorious antiques, period wallpapers and comfortable appointments, looks out over a sun-drenched patio, tiered flower gardens and the South Pasture.
This ground-level suite with private entrance is located off the newest wing of the Governor Bradford House, overlooking the ceremonial gardens. It is separated from the main house by a breezeway. The bedroom has a California king bed and mirrored dressing table. The adjacent sitting room is appointed with an antique couch and a twin-size daybed. The new bathroom has a sleek, white, glass-walled shower, and a heated floor.
