This a fabulous set of six (6) assorted red wines from 2018 in the Napa Valley: 

Continuum Cabernet ($275)

2018 Continuum is a wine for the ages, delicious today with a long life ahead. Blend: 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Cabernet Franc, 9% Petit Verdot, 6% Merlot. The wine expresses purity and precision, with high tone aromatics of red and blue fruit, deep plum and rose oil. 

Gemstone Cabernet ($150)

The 2018 Heritage Selection is full bodied and smooth, with bright blue and dark berry fruits, mocha, exotic spice and minerality across the palate. The finish is long with silky tannins that will support aging beautifully for the next 20+ years but is crafted to achieve balance and character suitable for enjoyment upon release.
 
Paradigm Cabernet Sauvignon ($85)

This wine is deeply pigmented with ruby/garnet color. First sniff is Oakville Cabernet all the way. Nice layers of ripe berry and cherry-like fruit with a matching complement of toasty French Oak from an assortment of Coopers and different barrel ages. Gorgeous across the palate with a silky yet dense mouthcoating impression. Ripeness is key and the result is a wine with perfect balance and flow - just plain delicious. It’s a big, beautiful wine now but has tremendous aging potential.

Alpha Omega Thomas Vineyard Cabernet ($180)

Coming from a single vineyard in Rutherford, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Thomas Vineyard is deep garnet-purple in color, revealing alluring scents of black raspberries, kirsch and fresh black and red currants with nuances of rose oil, tilled soil and fallen leaves. The full-bodied palate has rugged tannins and bold freshness supporting the bright, energetic black and red fruit layers, finishing with great length and plenty of chewiness.

Darioush Merlot ($75)

A nod to the long, even-keeled growing season on our high-elevation
Sage Vineyard atop Mount Veeder, 2018 Signature Merlot displays the
concentration and finesse of a classic mountain-grown Merlot. Aged 20 months in 70% new Chateau Traditional French oak barrels. Barrel lots were racked 2-3
times per year for clarity. 

Ghost Block Cabernet ($75)

The Estate Cabernet is balanced and focused, with dominant fruit flavors accented with herbal and spicy notes. The oak frames and defines the dense, firm tannins, leaving a long, beautiful finish.
