Item Description
This 2021 Sextant X-Series Caladoc bottle of wine
It is a brooding deep red-violet complexion reveals dark plums, strawberries, and boysenberries. The lavish mouthfeel is underscored by supple tannins and ample acidity as tinges of dried herbs, blood oranges, and red currants tug at the mid-palate. Finishes with a gradual release of black tea, hibiscus, and fine hints of sage. Like velvet!
This vintage is sold out.
Winemaker Notes
Caladoc performs exceptionally well in Paso Robles. Our small, head-trained block in our RBZ Vineyard produces large, healthy clusters each year, stemming from its crossbreeding parents, malbec and grenache. The resulting fruit creates a wine with a medium body that soaks up tons of flavor from the skins. Fermented in stainless steel and aged 18 months in French oak, this unique beauty has become one of our favorites!
Laws vary by state and country for shipping wine, so please check the regulations for both the origin and destination locations. Some states, like Utah and Mississippi, have very strict laws. Before you bid on this item please check if you are out of state.
