Item Description
Mark your Calendar for Saturday, Nov. 1st or Sunday Nov. 2.
Place:Santa Monica residence, from 3pm to 5pm
Join parent Stéphanie Auffret to learn how to make gluten-free bread. We will go over how to mix ingredients to make a seeded 100% whole grain bread, prepare the dough, shape it into a round loaf as well as baking it in a rectangular dish for square slices, and then bake based on different options (ceramic bread dish, pizza stone etc). We will go over the tricks to make it as beautiful and good as in a bakery shop!
Due to time constraints (several hours needed for dough to rise), a first batch of dough will be prepared and allow to rise before the session, ready to be shaped and baked when participants arrive. We will mix a second batch of dough during the session so that participants can learn the full process.
Your hosts will provide all the cooking ingredients and materials to bake in their home.
Item Special Note
Disclaimers: the whole grain recipe contains eggs. While photos and short videos documenting steps are possible for personal use, it is requested that they are not shared on social media.
Stéphanie can accommodate 2 bakers, so please note that there will be no refunds if you are unable to attend at the last minute. The program will be happy to provide you with a tax-deductible receipt if that should be the case.
