Item Description
Chateau Margene 2019 Stella's Cabernet Sauvignon - value $110
Elegant darkness shows throughout this bottling, beginning with aromas of wood, cocoa, black cherry and toasted nut on the nose. Detailed woodspice cruises across the palate, where a dark berry core is wrapped in expertly chiseled tannins. With 7% Malbec and 4% Merlot adding nuance, this wine should last for years.
Vineyard choice and vineyard practices are at the heart of all the wines crafted by Chateau Margene winemaker, Michael. Many factors went into deciding where to plant the estate (Bordeaux varietal focus) and where to acquire the cooler climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The estate is located in the Creston District AVA within the larger Paso Robles area. A 94 rating by WineEnthusist.
