About Peter Lynch
Peter Lynch is an architect in private practice in New York City. In October 2006 he joined Gustavo Crembil to form a partnership, THEM. Projects include a house and custom furniture in Shenzhen, China; restaurants in Shenzhen and Hong Kong; demountable structures for Cranbrook Academy of Art (winner 2006 PA Award); proposals for new methods of planning, zoning, and regulating urban development; research on new methods of bamboo and precast concrete construction; and affordable housing in Detroit. Peter teaches undergraduate thesis studio at City College, where he was appointed Visiting Distinguished Professor for Fall 2005. He won a 2005 Rome Prize, was chosen as a 2003 Emerging Voice by the Architecture League of New York, and was head of the graduate architecture department at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan from 1996 to 2005. Publications include Peter Lynch: The Cranbrook Monographs (Bristol, England: Telos Art Publishing, 2003).
