From the outside, track racing can seem kind of scary — people on bikes with no brakes, fixed gears, racing at high speeds on a banked oval. Also, races at the various velodromes around the country seem that it is dominated by male riders.

Gabby Zacks wanted to reverse this trend, so she created a special day devoted just for this group in 2023 and has been continuing her efforts ever since. Developing an entire Saturday focused on introducing WTFNB riders to track racing, she developed a fun, day-long program to help share her joy and excitement of track racing.
