This week’s "Pic of the Week" was shared with us by Dakota Bebon, of Brielle Waddel with her very first turkey! 8 year old Brielle had the time of her life on a hunt she will forever treasure. She is the daughter of Dakota’s best friend, and Dad was right there with them to share in the excitement and joy of the hunt. Dakota was doing the calling and feeling pretty good about Brielle's chances, even though this crafty old tom was taking his time coming into range. After about an hour he finally came strutting in and Brielle was ready with her .410 loaded with Rogue number 9’s. Even though her heart was pounding, Brielle smoked her tom at only 10 yards! That’s when the celebration began and we can only imagine how proud and excited her dad was! Congratulations Brielle on what we are sure is your first of many great turkey hunts to come!
