Buck’s started in a small garage across from the Big Freeport Indian. It was cold in the winter (loyal customers used to wait in their cars to stay warm!) and hotter than Memphis in the summer, but our authentic dry-rubbed…or as we call it ‘Naked’ slow cooked BBQ was a hit.

Friend suggested we come here for lunch. What a great idea! My steak tip salad was delicious. Reportedly the burnt ends and Cole slaw were equally good.
Quick service. Good atmosphere. Great food. Fair price. What more could we ask for?
We were hungry at lunchtime and it was raining so we stopped at Buck's based on the crowded parking lot. We are glad that we did. Our choices of the Pulled Pork Sandwich and the Catfish Fingers were served in generous portions, full of flavor to rival any BBQ joint in N.C.
What a pleasant surprise! This place is a great find for this area that is known for fresh seafood.
We absolutely LOVE the food here! Every time we go we can't buy just one meal we buy multiple items to bring home and eat later! You cannot beat the amazing food here!
