Before the up-and-coming stars of the NASCAR Xfinity Series take centerstage for the Zip Buy Now, Pay Later 250 at Sonoma Raceway, Las Vegas Aces guard Kelsey Plum and Zip Co.’s Chief Marketing Officer Jinal Shah will get the action started on track. Plum will serve as the Grand Marshal, delivering the command to start engines, while Shah will be the Honorary Starter, waving the green flag for the Saturday evening affair.

Team Toyota Is Looking to Make Wine Country, Win Country

On the heels of the only points race in California in 2024, NASCAR is making its annual trip to Sonoma Raceway, June 7-9, and Toyota is looking to make it a big weekend. Christopher Bell, Erik Jones, Sheldon Creed and Brent Crews all took a moment to connect with the media, sharing thoughts and expectations for the races ahead.

Team Toyota has won 3 out of the last 5 NASCAR Cup Series races in wine country and hungry for more – especially Martin Truex Jr., who’s aiming to tie Jeff Gordon for the all-time wins record in Sonoma at five.

And now that madness makes its way to the West Coast during the weekend of June 7-9 when all eyes are on the Toyota/Save Mart 350 in Sonoma. As they say, there’s never a dull moment in sports and this weekend will be no exception.

Sonoma Raceway to Become International Hotbed For NASCAR Weekend

In 2022 Mexico’s own Daniel Suárez became the first Mexican-born driver to win a NASCAR Cup Series race. This year, there will be a few more drivers adding international flair to the field for this year's NASCAR weekend. In addition to Suárez and New Zealander Shane Van Gisbergen in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race, Australian V8 Supercar stars Cam Waters and Will Brown will join the field in their NASCAR Cup Series debut on the 10-turn road course.
