Shopping at Bryan's is so good and so easy.
All the produce is fresh, the berries guaranteed to be sweet, the apples crisp.
The meat and fish are the freshest in all of San Francisco.
Today's lunch is composed of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, spring greens, and avocado.
All with a generous helping of Frantoia olive oil and Bryan's balsamic vinegarHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Jun 23, 2023Previous reviewWOW! WOW! WOW!
I highly recommend you all rush over to Bryan's and get the sweetest, juiciest Himalayan Purple Mulberries.
They are grown locally in Brentwood CA.
They have an extremely short season get them right away.
So sweet and so delicious especially when paired with a California Cabernet such as Beringer Knights Valley 2019.Oct 15, 2022Previous reviewIf you love fresh meats and the freshest fish you can ever buy, go to Bryan's.
They will have every cut of beef, lamb, pork, turkey or chicken and the fish counter is extraordinary!
Their fish cakes are the best in town.
They also have an excellent deli, cheese selection and a variety of foods freshly cooked on site.
The grocery section has a good variety of fruits and vegetables and the sweetest berries.
Try their soups- the tomato/basil is my favorite. - Zsch H.San Francisco Bay Area, CA091Apr 15, 2024
Super nice people and reasonable prices . Great cold cuts and produce. I like old school bizs especially to support then especially now that they're struggling so much

For a small, single store market Bryan's caters to the upscale crowd.
There's a meat/butcher and seafood counter. Regulars are greeted by name!
The shelves are super well-kept. You can find most things that you're going to need.
The standout for me is their floral section. It's in the back (parking area side).
The buyer of flowers has an eye for beauty. 'Cause he knows his customers are looking for this.
If i had to buy a bouquet of flowers want to arrange a floral display myself, I'll come to Bryan's. They have the most picturesque flowers.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - 61812011137Mar 4, 2022Updated review
Still a gem.
Best tiramisu in town. Puts all those North Beach cafes to shame.
A prolific deli selection.
High quality seafood counter, with prices to match.
Attentive service.
What's not to love?Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0Jan 29, 2015Previous reviewIt's Bi-Rite without the attitude. Great selection of everything. Just the right size - not so big that you're lost, and not so small that it's too specialized. Love this place!

Good quality meats and vegetables. Prepared foods can be hit or miss (mac and cheese had no flavor). However, the sandwiches are all great; one of the best turkey sandwiches ever.
I do all my grocery shopping here and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Large enough to have everything you need but not so large you feel like you're in a warehouse.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Luis F.San Francisco, CA06Jan 26, 2023
Their pork tenderloin is excellent! Juicy and tasty--no hint of growth hormones and antibiotics.

There is not a way to give feedback to the Bryan's Grocery staff on their website so I am going to post on Yelp.
I am so grateful to this store for the many family holiday meals that I hosted over the years. We would wait in a long line to pick up the reserved meats and seafood for our memorable family celebrations. It is still a go-to destination to find specialty and delicious deli items (bean and pasta salads), chocolates, and having butchers on the premises. It is a lovely, well-appointed grocery store and shelves are always well-stocked even during the pandemic. The staff at the check-out lines was first-rate and long-time employees who knew regular customers. I went to high school with one who has since retired.
Unfortunately, the last dozen times I went to Bryan's, the staff at the check-out lines were dismissive and rude and, as a person of color, it was blatantly obvious. Sadly, it appears that the long-time employees have moved on. With this post, I am asking Bryan's to remind their staff to treat everyone the same as you would like to be treated. The quality of your products is first-rate but, for some of us, the experience is one star.
Side note: I will send a letter to them via post. Everyone is going through a very difficult time right now, and I am empathetic with the challenges for many businesses.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0May 4, 2008Previous reviewWe've never been disappointed by Bryan's. The quality of meat and fish with friendly, efficient service is top-notch. We've been ordering crown roast pork for every family holiday dinner from Bryan's for over 12 years, and it is always superb. To save money, we went to different butchers on one or two occasions (good butchers, by the way) for the same cut of meat and always go back to Bryan's. Note during the holidays, there is a long line out the door so be sure to order in advance. The line is shorter for the fish counter. Nevertheless, the staff is super efficient and fast.

during christmas shopping december 19 i stopped in to purchase some items and after exiting i looked at my receipt and i saw that i had been overcharged $2 on one item.
the cashier at first insisted the amount she had hand entered was correct. after she inspected the printed shelf price label she still insisted that her price entry was correct but did refund my credit card with no apology just attitude.
she must have learned how to displease customers from her supervisor whose "apology" was "i'm sorry you're having a bad day" and inappropriately touched my arm. i was actually having an enjoyable day and told her so and added " i just don't like to be overcharged $2 on an item and have the staff act as if overcharging is no big deal.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
