Are you working out? Everyone’s body is different, obviously, but I started carrying weight during pandemic when I replaced cardio at the gym with at home yoga. I realized I need a cardio routine where I burn at least 300 calories, 5 x a week, plus relatively mindful eating to lose the added pounds and maintain where I was pre-pandemic so I re-upped my gym membership and started hitting the peloton at home harder and longer. -

I’ve read some good ones lately: The South Side by Natalie Moore The Battle of Lincoln Park by Daniel Hertz Three Girls from Bronzeville by Dawn Turner The Chicago Neighborhood Guidebook edited by Martha Bayne these were all great books. I learned so much about the city.
