- Instagram, 🏗️ The Portland Art Museum from a different view. As our multi-year campus transformation project continues, we are now preparing to lay a new foundation for the Mark Rothko Pavilion, a new 24,000 square foot structure that will connect PAM’s two buildings across all four floors and create a welcoming “front door” to the Museum. Opening in late 2025, our transformed campus will offer new and renovated galleries, more community gathering space, and improved accessibility for all visitors. We look forward to sharing more updates during this journey. - Instagram, Fri, May 31, 7 p.m. | Join @PAM_CUT for an inventive evening of film and music. The Tomorrow Theater presents musician @CoreyJBrewer performing a live score with the 1927 silent horror comedy "The Cat and the Canary,” regarded as one of the most influential films in the early history of American genre cinema. With plenty of trickery and treachery on screen to match the inventive artifice of the film itself, “The Cat and the Canary” is a stylized saga of murder and madness, directed by German Expressionist filmmaker Paul Leni.
