Organized in 1983 by sisters Erin & Tami Stevens, PBDA's classes generally run in PROGRESSIVE, 6-week series all year 'round ($100 series; or $20 single class admission.) Classes:

We offer Beginning thru Advanced group classes (& private lessons) in ALL styles of Swing & Ballroom. Masks Optional. (Click on the 'About Us' button above and subscribe to our mailing list).      

Private Lessons are also available at: $100 an hour (which includes one OR two people, and one of our instructors). Privates are held in our residential studio in Southwest Pasadena, and can be arranged by calling us: (626) 799-5689; or by emailing us: pbda1@earthlink.net

Our Group Classes & Dances are held at: GRACE HALL, 73 N. Hill Ave., Pasadena, 91106.  (in BACK of the Hill Avenue Grace Lutheran Church).  Free easy parking, air-conditioning, and a nice LARGE wood floor. COME JOIN US!

TWO DANCES THIS WEEKEND at PBDA!

THIS FRIDAY Night, June 14th it’s a BALLROOM Dance w/The Murray Middleman All-Star Trio. $20 Admission includes a Cha-Cha Lesson 7:30-8pm; Band plays 8-10pm. Light Refreshments & Door Prizes!

THIS SATURDAY Night, June 15th, features The Big Butter Jazz Band! $25. Admission at the Door includes a Swing Lesson 7:30-8pm; Band plays 8-11pm, Plus Snacks, Refreshments & Door Prizes. Couples & Singles of All Ages Welcome!

In 2011 the Stevens sisters of PBDA were contracted to write a historical reference guide to SWING DANCING, which has become a textbook at several universities around the country.
