The artist/owner, Piper Head has a BFA in Sculpture from the University of Miami. She has been a working artist and themed entertainment set designer for over 30 years. Her personal artwork has been exhibited in the USA and Japan.

She has been a working bookbinder since 2005, where she trained in the Los Angeles area with Alice Vaughan of Hudson River Bindery and Tini Muira of Long Beach, CA. She is a current member of the Guild of Bookworkers.
