In 1909, at the corner of Lake Street and Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis, young Albert would stand over a small copper kettle filled with the best ingredients attainable. Cooking his new confections over an open flame, Albert knew that every recipe had to be absolutely perfect or he would have to try again. This was the start of how we’ve created some of the best candies and chocolates in Minnesota.
