Introducing @expresswinemakers #NowAvailable #SudburyCraftBeer #NaturalWine
—
About the producer:
First generation vignerons, Ryan O’Meara and Pete Ikstrums, seek out unloved or abandoned vineyards from all corners of the Great Southern and convert them to organic farming practices. The grapes from these vineyards are fermented naturally, before they are blended or not, to make honest and expressive wines.
Having traveled and worked in Wineries and Vineyards across Europe, California and Australia, we embarked on our own winemaking journey in 2011. Starting out with a couple of tonnes of Riesling and Syrah from a local vineyard, things got a bit more serious in 2016 when we started farming a little Chenin vineyard in Mount Barker.
From there we have developed an unquenchable thirst for more vineyards and more challenges, lured by Riesling and Syrah grown on granite, cooler sites planted to various Burgundian clones of Pinot Noir or alternative varieties such as Chenin Blanc, Marsanne and Malbec.
Currently we are farming six vineyards, scattered between Denmark, Mount Barker and Porongurup. Fortunately we take a very hands off approach in the cellar as there aren’t many hours left in the day once the work is done in the vineyard.
About the juice:
L’Orange (2022): Predominantly Riesling (80%), with the balance Semillon (15%) and the remaining 5% skin contact Chenin and Sauvignon Blanc from other vineyards. Distinctive notes of white blossoms, orange and lemon juice with chalky tannin.

About the producer:
Noel and Barrie, with backgrounds in hospitality, started Purity Wine in 2013 to pursue their passion for wine and farming. Purity is the lodestar of the winery project, but like perfection, it’s something understood as a neverending work in progress. This yields a practice of natural winemaking, using natural yeasts and minimal sulfur and working with farmers who believe deeply in organics. Sourcing grapes from across Northern California, they have blended grapes, vintages, and geographies to create unique and interesting wines.
About the juice:
2021 Yummo Pet Nat
A floral, fruity, and textured pet nat made from 100% Lodi Orange Muscat. With a fine beaded bubble, a slight tannic bitterness of the finish, and a bright but soft acidity this wine has a surprising edge of substance and seriousness atop its wildly appealing aromatics. 12% ABV.
Introducing @wonderwerk.la #NowAvailable #SudburyCraftBeer #NaturalWine
—
About the producer: Wonderwerk is a collaboration between Issamu Kamide and Andrew Lardy, two high school friends from Virginia seeking new directions in fermentation. They live in LA (Echo Park!) and make supernatural wines from all over California, producing and bottling with their own hands and feet. Issamu and Andrew’s wines ride the wavelength from low-intervention to high-innovation, making collaborative ideas come to life in funky new ways. Wonderwerk began as a long night on a disco dancefloor (Despacio!) wound down and Issamu and Andrew didn’t want the party to end. Now, it’s flowed from there into the wines you see and drink today.
About the juice:
Wonderwerk Marinara!
2022 | 41% Montepulciano, 29% Teroldego, 22% Zinfandel, 10% Grenache from four different vineyards. Marinara! is an evolving Italian red blend custom-fit for the red and white checkered tablecloth and/or food you’d eat on one. Carbonic-macerated Montepulciano lays the primary foundation of bright plum and tomato with a fine, powdery tannic structure. Teroldego contributes rich pigment, a moderate tannic structure, and complex earthy/animal notes. Zinfandel defines an acid-driven backbone with sour cherry notes. A minor fraction of plush Grenache adds a dash of concentration and strawberry fruit leather tones. 12.2% ABV
Introducing Glassmaker Wine Company #NowAvailable #SudburyCraftBeer #NaturalWine

About the producer:
Glassmaker is Jonathan Walton’s personal wine project which he does alongside being the winemaker behind Subject to Change. Jonathan has previous winemaking experience from Brooklyn Oenology, Martinelli, Huia, and Failla. He launched Glassmaker Wine Company in 2015 to bring his vision of winemaking to life. Glassmaker reflects Jonathan’s deep-seated passion for farming and winemaking along with his family’s history of farming from Iowa to California. The name Glassmaker pays homage to Jonathan’s mother Phyllis and her family name, reflecting their history as farmers. With this background his pride in putting food on tables runs deep and, after years of working with organic foods, fine cheese, and wines from around the world, Jonathan found his calling in the vineyards of Sonoma, Marlborough, Lodi, Contra Costa, and Monterey.
About the juice:
North Coast Red
2021 | 85% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre. A fresh chillable red with some back bone. 11.5% ABV
A gentle giant. There’s ocean spray and a rich texture from the old vine grenache, with high toned berry flavors and fine tannin coming from stem inclusion. A small amount of mourvedre brings delicate strawberry and white flowers.

We are even more excited about further solidifying our commitment to the animal welfare organizations that we have supported since we opened the brewery 10 years ago. From making our patio as pet-friendly as possible to the many events and fundraisers throughout the years to support our best friends, this beer continues our commitment to the furry friends who make a difference everyday in our lives, and only ask for love and snuggles in return. 1% of proceeds from all sales of this beer are being donated to various organizations interested in animal welfare in our area. We will be sharing those organizations with you throughout the year.
