Meet the New Octopus!
Clearwater Marine Aquarium recently introduced our newest resident species, Octopus vulgaris, also known as the common octopus. Discover this amazing new animal on your next visit!
Meet Opie – a New Resident River Otter!
Opie is a juvenile male river otter brought to CMA following a dog attack that injured his right eye. Opie has been deemed non-releasable as he has been habituated by humans and no longer has the instincts to survive in the wild. He will be introduced to Walle and Boomer as he acclimates to his new home in Otter Oasis. Help us welcome Opie on your next visit!
Manatee Rehabilitation Center Updates
The new Manatee Rehabilitation Center will allow CMA to accept the influx of manatees in need of critical care. Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare to open this new addition, the first phase of our Rising Tides expansion plan.
