The service, the spa, the food, the thoughtfulness, the location. Simply the best, I never wanted to leave.

The hotel is lovely with excellent staff at the front deck, within dining, and housekeeping. However we did run into a problem both at the spa and with the hike that we booked and confirmed.
The Sonoma Mission Inn could use sone TLC. The grounds had many weeds. The exterior is many years past due for fresh paint.
Room clean and ready on time. Daily cleaning service was prompt. Hotel has a wonderful vibe.
Most friendly and warm staff, great service

Gracious staff, elegant buildings and rooms, peaceful environment.
The hotel is impressive as you arrive at night w/ all of the string lights, etc. Check in was fine although we were starving & it was just after 10:00 p.m. We were told that the kitchen closed at 10:00 p.m. No room service apparently. I attempted to pre-order breakfast before we went to bed but the breakfast menu would not come up on the QR code in the room. On the first day after housekeeping, I found that a bag of Nespresso capsules I brought with me was open and laying on the coffee bar. I left the bag closed tightly in the desk chair across the room. This was disturbing. The room decor is very tired though the bed, pillows and bedding were comfortable. The window treatments are the worst. The breakfast food and service in the restaurant were both very good. The pool was having major maintenance done the whole time we there. The pool bar closed at 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. which was disappointing. I let go of these issues and never complained BUT I was REALLY upset at check out when I saw that we were charged double for the last night we were there. I questioned the clerk at the front desk and he said it was because of Bottlerock. I wasn't there for Bottlerock and didn't even know what it was until we were forced to cancel our wine tasting at Pine Ridge and our dinner reservations on our last day because of the traffic and unavailable drivers to take us. Not quite sure what we got for the daily "resort fee". A nice 5 night stay ended on a very sour note.

Amazing service overall. I was there for a medical conference. I had asked for a late check out as I was in the conference that morning. I had packed all my luggage into the car. I had left food and an expensive bottle of wine in the refrigerator with the intention of getting prior to checking out. When I went to my room during a break time (10:45 am), I was surprised to find housekeeping already in my room and nearly finished. They had thrown away all the food and the bottle of wine away in the garbage. This was shocking as it was not even check out time and I had asked for an 11:30 am checkout. The manager did make accommodations for the food and wine that was thrown away. My elder aunt, who has oral cancer stayed with me during my conference. I was able to find food that she could eat and enjoy. She was so looking forward to eating later that day. Because of all that happened and the time involved to come to a resolution, I missed the last portion of my medical conference. I hope in the future, that extra care is taken to make sure that the guest has actually checked out prior to cleaning the room Joan A.
