Sit back for a relaxing journey into passenger railroad's glorious past onboard the Bertram Flyer! Our vintage train cars are from the golden era of rail travel, built in the '30s, '40s and '50s, and fully restored for your enjoyment. On board the train, your 44 mile journey spans the South San Gabriel River and stops for a 15 minute layover at our historic 1912 Bertram Depot. Enjoy views of Short Creek Canyon, the 300-foot-long wooden trestle bridge over the South San Gabriel, and the Duffy-Shamrock communications mast-one of the tallest structures in the world!
Independence Day Express- July 6
Join us in commemorating Independence Day weekend aboard the Bertram Flyer! Take a leisurely trip back in time to the illustrious days of passenger rail travel on the Bertram Flyer! Our collection of vintage train cars hails from the glamorous '30s, '40s, and '50s, meticulously restored to ensure your utmost enjoyment. Embark on a 44-mile voyage, traversing the scenic South San Gabriel River and making a brief 15-minute stop at the historic 1912 Bertram Depot. Princess Flyer- August 3
Get ready for a magical journey with the Princess Flyer! Activities on board the train will animate your Princess, while the Professional Princess Team brings some of your favorite characters to life! While your Princess is aflutter, Queens and Kings will enjoy our fully restored vintage train cars from the golden era of rail travel, built in the ‘30s, ‘40s and ‘50s. On board the train, your journey spans the South San Gabriel River and stops for a 15-minute layover at our historic 1912 Bertram Depot. A great spot for photos of your Princess with the train! All ages can ride in all cars on this special ride. There are no adults-only seating areas.
Wine Train- September 22
Enjoy the Wine Train as we take the train to Wedding Oak Winery in Burnet, Texas! Passengers will enjoy a 2-hour train ride from Cedar Park spanning the South San Gabriel River while enjoying an intimate talk and wine tasting with members of the Wedding Oak family. In Burnet, food and wine are available for purchase during our 2-hour layover at the stunning tasting room at Wedding Oak Winery. Complete with two-story views, a patio, and a rooftop terrace, Wedding Oak has made its home in the historic 1888 Badger Building, in the heart of Burnet's town square. Finally, please relax and enjoy the ride as the train returns to our Cedar Park Depot in the afternoon.
