We are open for the season

And things look a bit different around here. In case you didn’t know, we are building a year-round store! In preparation for the build, we have scaled back our operation and are focusing on what makes Allandale great—our produce, our plants, and our team! You can still find all of your gardening essentials (vegetable seedling 6-packs, perennials & annuals, many mulch and seed varieties, etc.), as well as delicious local treats, like Magic Bites snacks, FancyPants cookies, Thatcher Farm Milk, and more!

Check out the infographic below for help navigating our new market layout.

See you on the farm!

Your farm in the city

At Allandale Farm, we are grounded in our commitment to the land, our community and our unique history. We are proud to connect Boston to its agricultural roots by sustainably growing plants and produce from seed to store. Our path forward is informed by the path we have travelled as we strive to maintain sustainable agricultural and business practices, to invest in our employees and to honor our heritage. By serving our community with events that entertain and educate and by inspiring our youth to be the next generation of stewards, we are your farm in the city.

CSA

Community Supported Agriculture

Each week, you'll receive a diverse array of fresh vegetables representative of what we are harvesting from our fields. Your share might include seasonal combinations, such as arugula, beans, beets, broccoli, brussel sprouts, carrots, cauliflower, cucumbers, eggplant, fennel, garlic, greens, herbs, leeks, lettuce, new potatoes, onions, radishes, scallions, spinach, and spring lettuce mix.

SUMMER PROGRAM

Outdoor Fun for Ages 4-12

Our Outdoor Summer Program gives children ages 4-12 a comprehensive exposure to outdoor fun and learning on a working farm. We focus our education efforts on gardening, composting, bird and plant identification, walking, farm animals and outdoor games in the natural environment of our farm. Fun and engaging, we offer both regular and extended day programs.
