Great Sports Bar on the UWS! The place was packed but that didn't slow the service down. We were served quickly with frequent check-ins. Not to mention the wings were TO DIE FOR!!!

During my undergrad years I spent some time living in Buffalo, so my bar for good wings are very high and when I moved back to New York City I had a hard time finding wings that met my standard. Fortunately I was introduced to the wings at Blondies Sports.

Serving up easily some of the best buffalo wings in New York, Blondies Sports is a standard sports/dive bar in the Upper West Side. Since my colleagues and I worked nearby, we always came here to take advantage of Blondies great 2 for 1 happy hour. For food, my group usually sticks to ordering the wings and waffle fries here. I highly suggest getting a side of cheese for the waffle fries. The wings at blondies are traditionally not battered and fried to perfection. Despite not having a shell, the wings are still crispy without being too dry.

Although some people may be a bit turned off by the price, the wings at Blondies always seems a bit bigger than normal. I can usually polish off 10-15 wings and be satisfied. If you like buffalo wings, I highly suggest giving Blondies Sports a try. Do not be afraid or intimidated by this dive bar and you will not regret it.

Had a great time until the Braves allowed 6 runs in the first inning and destroyed my 12-leg parlay. Vibes shifted. Dont know what is in the spray bottle they have on the table. Beer and waitresses are great.

This is one of my favorite sports bars. I've only had great experiences, though I've only come to watch specific games. Friendly bartenders, and the food is GOOD sports bar food.

Four of my top faves: waffle fries + chili and cheese (or wafer fries, according to the menu), cheddar cheese curds, grilled cheese, wings (they're a nice size. On Mondays they do 20 wings for 20 and you can't share or take home. Maybe one day?). Pretzels could be better if they warmed it up.

Pretty good Wings and Fries, but their Beer selection and mix drinks were severely lacking (we tried 3 different types of Beer and they were all flat, and then switched to mix drinks and it got worse). Service wasn't bad especially since we were there to watch the March Madness Games (they were packed).

Their wings are awesome i always order the mild and the honey mustard along with any fries , waffle or sweet potatoes you can't go wrong , you can try any of their other flavors on wings , but I'm going to stick with my tried and true favorites

Upon walking in, there was a long bar with a few high-top tables. There was also a separate section for regular dining. I sat at the bar where the service was friendly. The menu had traditional bar options to choose from.

I had the smothered wafer fries ($14?) and a chicken cheesesteak ($16?). The waffle fries were topped with melted cheese, chili, jalapenos, onions, and sour cream. These were very good. I liked the waffle fries being the base of this dish as it was able to hold up all the toppings. The chili appeared to be homemade and was very flavorful. The chicken cheesesteak was with onions and American cheese. This was alright. The chicken needed to be seasoned a little more. The bread was the best part of this.

Will I go back? Possibly.

One of my go-to spots for watching Ball games. Always a nice crowd, always fun bartenders. Their wings are a must. Totally delicious!

Came here for a drink and some food with my colleagues after doing the jpm corporate challenge. The staff was great, they were able to get us our own room in the back, and the food was good too

I have lived in Buffalo, NY my whole life and these wings are awesome! Highly recommend!!!
