Holiday Camps coming up:
 New Holiday Camp dates have been added.
Easter Holidays – Friday, March 29th & Monday April 1st
Eid al-Fitr – Wedneday, April 10th
Spring Break – Monday, April 22-Friday, April 26
Eid al-Adha – Monday, June 17th
Juneteenth – Wednesday, June 19th

 All camps will run from 10:00-4:00, with the option for an early drop off at 9:00 am.  The cost is $100 per day.  Activity schedule and more information will be available soon but registration is open now HERE.  

March 7th Half Day Field Trip – Ninja for a Day!

Thursday, March 7th is scheduled to be a half-day. Students will be dismissed from school at 11:30 am. We will provide a half-day field trip to Ferox Ninja Park, an indoor adventure park in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.  The cost for the day (11:30-5:00) is $140.00 which includes the cost of admission to Ferox Ninja Park. We will plan to leave PS 11 at 12:00 and travel to Brooklyn via subway. We will return by 4:00. All students must be picked up between 4:00-5:00. We have very limited financial assistance available and will need to charge at least the cost of admission ($30) to the Park.  Our next Holiday Camps will be for 4 days during the Winter Break, Monday, February 19- Thursday, February 22nd – registered for 1 day or all 4!  Both camps will run from 10:00-4:00, with the option for an early drop off at 9:00 am.  The cost is $100 per day.  Activity schedule and more information will be available soon but registration is open now HERE.  

Summer Camp – NOW 7 WEEKS!
​Summer Camp at PS 11 will run from Monday, July 1st – Friday, August 16th (no camp July 4 & 5th) from 9:00-5:00 pm.   We are hard at work creating an enriching, fun-filled, robust camp that will keep your kids active and engaged. We will have more information available soon about other activities, field trips and partnerships.  Register HERE. Please see Summer Camp menu above for more information.

The rates for camp are as follows:

July 1-July 3, 2024:
$350/$210*

July 8-August 16, 2024:
1 week – $650/$390
2 weeks – $1200/$720
3 weeks – $1725/$1035
4 weeks – $2200/$1320
5 weeks – $2625/$1575

A 10% discount will be applied for all registrations received by March 15th.  A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a seat and to receive the discount. 

Financial assistance applications will be approved on  April 15th.

Camp will run Monday-Friday from 9:00 am-5:00 pm. Financial assistance applications will be approved on April 15th. Camp will be open to incoming Kindergarten students through rising 6th grade.

The tentative schedule will be:

12:00-1:00 Lunch/Recess (lunch provided)
2:00-4:00  Enrichment Activities
4:00-5:00 Free Time/Dismissal

-Weekly Giant Room Visits for all groups

SPRING AFTERSCHOOL REGISTRATION

A first draft of the spring schedule is available.  Here is the link.  Please note that this is a draft and is subject to change.

Registration will open on THURSDAY, JANUARY 18TH (this is a change due to the Rosie’s performance on 1/17) at 9 am for all families.  If you do not already have an Eleyo account, you should create one prior to registration. The link for registration is:  https://ps11programs.ce.eleyo.com/

Financial Assistance registrations will ALSO open online on Thursday, January 18th at 9 am.  Please note if you are applying for financial assistance – the link for registration is here: https://ps11programs.ce.eleyo.com/child-care/23/financial-assistance Please only use this link if you receive financial assistance for afterschool.

If you have already been approved for  financial assistance for the 2023-2024 school year, you do not need to reapply.  The promo code will be sent to you by January 15, 2024.  If you do not receive a promo code by that date, please email ps11programs @gmail.com.  To apply for financial assistance, please complete the financial assistance registration here: https://ps11programs.ce.eleyo.com/child-care/23/fi…. Once your request is approved, a promo code will be sent to you.  

We will offer in person registration assistance in the cafeteria on Monday, January 22nd and Tuesday, January 23rd from 9-11 am.  Please call us at 917-653-0594 or email us at ps11programs@aol.com if you need assistance but are not able to come on those days/times.

For financial assistance applications, the procedure is below.  If you are applying for a scholarship, you must sign in to your Eleyo account or create a new account BEFORE January 15th and complete the following steps:
• Explore all programs
• Select Financial Assistance
• Select Registration
• Follow the prompts
• Select the days of the week
• Under additional information, please indicate how much you can afford to pay per month.
• Complete registration OR continue without saving a payment method.
• Once your registration is received, you will be emailed a promo code. The promo code will be effective January 17th to register online at http://www.ps11programs.ce.eleyo.com or you can call or email us to schedule a time to register in person.

Please note that all outstanding balances must be paid in order to register for the Spring.  Accounts with past due balances may be locked and registration will not be available until the account is paid in full.  Please check your Eleyo account to ensure that your account is in good standing.

FALL SEMESTER

The current semester of Afterschool runs through February 16th.  Please mark your calendars for our Open Class Week, February 12th-16th and our Dance Show on Thursday, February 15th at 6:00 pm.

CHILD CARE VOUCHERS

SUMMER CAMP

And believe it or not…. Summer camp registration will open on January 17th too.  It is our favorite time of year!  So sign up early to reserve your seat at a discounted rate.  More info in January.

• We also just want to clarify that even though we did raise our rates this Fall and change our pick up times, the amount of time that your child is in their afterschool classes HAS NOT CHANGED.  Students are dismissed to afterschool between 2:30 & 2:40.  All classes run for 1 1/4 hours with 15 minutes added for dismissal.  

• Although we understand that emergencies do arise, LATE PICKUPS are unfair to our staff and your child.We expect families to arrive on time to pick up their child.  Except in cases of extreme emergencies, we must receive a phone call at least 30 minutes prior to dismissal to let us know about a late pick up.  Our phone number is 917-653-0594.  This applies to all dismissal times.  A late fee will still apply and the following late fees will be charged. In addition, continual lateness may result in cancellation of your child’s classes and/or loss of financial assistance.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Please note that this is a draft and subject to change. We have several classes each day yet to add. Both the PreK-2nd grade schedule and the 3rd-5th grade schedule is included. Please continue to check it regularly for any changes. It is subject to change up until the registration date.

SPRING 2023 
While we strongly believe that the COVID-19 vaccination helps keep our school and community safer and healthier, we will be lifting the requirement that all students be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 in order to attend afterschool. Please note, however, that this requirement could be reinstated at any time if city or state mandates change.

We will be holding an information session for all new families about afterschool conducted in both English and Spanish on Tuesday, January 17th at 9:00 am. Please note that in order to enter the building, all adults must show proof of at least ONE COVID-10 vaccination.  (Tendremos una sesión de información para todas las familias nuevas sobre actividades extracurriculares en inglés y español el martes 17 de enero a las 9:00 am.  Tenga en cuenta que para ingresar al edificio, todos los adultos deben mostrar prueba de al menos UNA vacuna contra el COVID-10.)

….. is scheduled to be a half-day. Students will be dismissed from school at 11:30 am. PS 11 Programs will provide a half-day program from 11:30-5:00.  Families can opt to register from 11:30-3:00 or 11:30-5:00.  Students will participate in enrichment activities (soccer, art, dance, etc.) Cost of the program is $50 from 11:30-3:00;  $75 from 11:30-5:00. Limited financial assistance is available.  If you need financial assistance for this day, please email us at ps11programs@aol.com prior to registering.  Please note, the building will close at 5 pm so all students must be picked up by 5:00 pm.
