The United Steelworkers (USW) today announced that University of Pittsburgh faculty overwhelmingly ratified their first contract since joining the union, improving job security and raising wages for more than 3,000 workers.
Members of the USW and the greater labor movement took to the streets across the country on May 1 to rally and march for global economic and social justice on International Workers’ Day.
