Welcome
Vermont is a very special place, and we invite you to explore and enjoy it with us.
Immerse yourself in the beauty and vibrancy of Vermont and watch as your troubles melt away. Stay for a day or longer, reconnect with family, friends and all the truly good things in life.
Experience our green fields and forests, bucolic landscapes and scenic villages, our clear, cold lakes and streams, our vibrant arts and food scene, stunning mountain views, starry skies and friendly people.
We work towards ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inclusive place for our staff, volunteers, and visitors.
Parks News & Events

Words in the Woods events are made possible by Vermont Humanities, the Vermont Arts Council, and a sponsorship by a Northeast Kingdom donor in honor of poet Judy Chalmer.
