I've been coming to Ocean Nails since I was going to high school dances! They have always taken great care of myself, my mother and my 7 year old!
Tee can do pretty much anything and is always amazing me! I love my valentines nails! Lee also is very talented and does an amazing job!
Mike gives the best pedicure in town! He takes his time and really pays attention to nail shapes, cuticles and the massage!

Excellent service, high quality products & many service options. I can't say enough about how courteous all the staff members are. Been using them on a monthly basis for over 14 yrs and they still make sure I'm happy with the service during each visit. Thank you Kathy and Team!!!

Beautiful nail salon, with kind and happy staff. I love my nails each time I visit! Every staff member does beautiful work! I have had the pleasure of having many different staff members do my nails and I love how they turn out each time. The environment is clean, inviting, and feels relaxing to be in. I have been coming to Ocean Nails for over 6 years. Today I had Tobi do my Dip Manicure, with a french tip design. I also had Lilly who did my Gel pedicure and it was so relaxing and wonderful! My nails are very healthy and grow very strong.

I am so happy there is a nail salon in Santa Barbara that continually provides consistent, beautiful manicures and pedicures!! Thank you Tobi and Lilly, and thank you Ocean Nails!

This was the best part of my SB trip. Nice salon, they were able to take me right when I went in without an appointment, color was perfect, the woman who did my pedicure was nice and did my nails well. It was expensive ($50 for gel pedicure) but I was very happy with the experience. Would go back if I was in town again!

We wandered by Ocean Nails and Spa and on a whim, decided we'd ask if there were any walk-in openings for 2 pedicures. We could see they were incredibly busy, but we were greeted and immediately instructed to pick our colors and take a seat in their fabulous massage chairs. Not only were the staff kind, accommodating and quick, but they made our mother-daughter outing so special with matching nail colors. From the sugar scrub and leg massage, to callous removal and nail polish, our experience was fantastic. The establishment was clean, efficient, and very reasonably priced. Will absolutely return.

Third time coming to Ocean nails and each time I have been very happy! I go to whoever is available and am easily able to get a next-day appointment each time I call. It is cozy and welcoming in there and everyone seems equally efficient and thorough without making you feel rushed through. I went to Tracy today and was very happy with her work! She paid attention to detail and spent her time on the shape and making it look very nice. Will definitely be going back!

So to begin, the place is clean and it's easy to make an appointment. They get the job done rather quickly, no fuss, although it seems somewhat rushed.

2 stars is because each time I've gone for a pedicure or gel mani, the polish comes off in a week or even days with regular polish. I decided to give them another chance and go with dip mani - which for those unfamiliar is supposed to last AT LEAST 3 weeks. In fact, I've gotten dip so many times other places, that I can confidently say with the same level of activity I do, they last 4 weeks until I get annoyed and want a different color or cut.

But here? The dip lasted a week and was heavily chipping and my nails broke. When I called the manager to explain, he was EXTREMELY RUDE, unapologetic, blamed it on the fact that I "must be doing too much activity with my hands", and that "no dip or gel ever last past 2 weeks". Basically gaslighting. Sorry I didn't know I'm supposed to quit my job or not take care of house chores so that their cheap polish could withstand the pressure of what isn't the TYPICAL LIFE of a woman taking care of a business, house, and a pet.

People of Goleta, save your $ and head over to the countless other places in town. In fact there are two close by to here which do a fine job and take TIME AND CARE to your nails.

It was my first time going to ocean nails! My cousin Crystal referred me to Kathy. I am honestly so happy with the way the nails came out. Kathy was very centered and focused on making me the customer happy by replicating the image of nails that I showed her I wanted. Kathy was also kind to me! Thank you Kathy for making my experience a good one.

Still in pain after almost a week. My toe nails were cut curved way down on the sides. My small toenail was cut so far down the side that a portion of my toenail was cut right off of the skin (see photo).
All the pedicures I have had in the past have been straight across without asking for it to be done that way. It seems very odd that they did this without asking first.
I didn't realize how bad it was until I got home. I contacted the salon and they said sorry. That was nice but it is still very painful when I walk. I am guessing I will now have ingrown toenail pain as all of the nails grown back in.

Awful service. When I first walked in I felt like the vibe was off. I asked for a solid color, they kept on telling me to get french tip instead. I kept refusing till it got to the point where I just got french tip. I got cut TWICE. The man doing my nails was so rough as well. Another thing is it's very expensive. Overall I do not recommend this nail place AT ALL!.
