At Golden Valley Animal Hospital and Greenbrier Animal Hospitals, we believe in the importance of not only practicing high-quality medicine, but also in educating our clients on better methods of caring for their dogs and cats. Our goal in every visit is to improve the quality of life for our patients and clients, and that doesn’t stop at the hospital doors!
Brookview Animal Hospital was founded in Golden Valley in 1975 by Dr. Marc Rothstein to provide high-quality veterinary care to dogs and cats, and at that time, even birds other exotic pets. The business attracted many clients, and in response, Dr. Rothstein opened Greenbrier Animal Hospital in Minnetonka in 1980. Dr. Leslie Goldblatt joined the practice in 1995, becoming a co-owner in 1999.
As the business continued to expand, it outgrew its original Golden Valley location. In 2007, Golden Valley Animal Hospital was purchased, and the business moved into its larger, more modern facility only one block away.
Over the years, several additional veterinarians joined the practice, allowing for the ability to provide the highest level of care to pets and their owners in two locations. In 2017, Dr. Reimann joined Dr. Goldblatt as a new owner of the clinic so Dr. Rothstein could prepare for retirement. At the end of May, 2022, Dr. Goldblatt also retired, leaving Dr. Reimann as the sole owner of our practice. Dr. Reimann and the rest of our staff are excited to see our clinics grow and continue to give the best care possible to our patients!

What Our Clients Say…
I love the docs and staff at Greenbrier Animal Hospital. They are always friendly and very professional. I bring my parakeet, Juliet, there. It is one of the few veterinary clinics around here that accepts birds. Many of my friends take their dogs there, and I have heard only good reports.
I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. The staff is friendly and professional. Not all vets will see rabbits, but Greenbrier does and they’ve been great to my two bunnies! They’ve even followed up when I had to take Sophia to an emergency after-hours vet. They truly do care. And they have a a welcome sign with the names of each pet coming in that day. A nice touch!
