I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with children and their families to navigate life’s challenges and build resilience through play-based interventions.

Psychotherapy with Children

I offer 50-minute play-based individual therapy for children ages 4-12. Play therapy is evidenced-based and has been shown to be effective with children (and even adults!) of all ages.

How I Can Help

Oftentimes, families seek therapy for their children because they are concerned about an ongoing or new behavior that impacts functioning in school or at home. Rather than seeing behavior and children as problems to be fixed, I support children and families to navigate the emotions and needs underlying the behaviors. I utilize play-based interventions, a therapeutic environment, and collaboration with parents to address emotional and behavioral issues and build coping skills to help children thrive.

Who I Work With

Children can benefit from therapy for a wide variety of reasons. I have particular interest and background in supporting children in navigating:

  • anxiety (e.g., perfectionism, selective mutism)

  • school concerns and peer/social relationships

  • emotional expression

  • adjusting to a major life event (e.g., loss, divorce, new sibling)

  • self-esteem

  • identity exploration
