Thank you from all of us at Foundation To Be Named Later for an unforgettable Homecoming weekend. Thank you to our Sponsors and thank you to the Boston Red Sox 2004 Curse Breakers! So many people behind the scenes make this all possible. We couldn’t do it without you.

Our Mission

We invest in the next generation of emerging leaders and support the non profits that champion them. We do this by channeling our communities’ shared passion for music, baseball and service to create college and career opportunities and a future of possibilities for under resourced young people and their families.

Our Anthem, Gotta Serve Somebody, by Bob Dylan, performed by Peter Gammons and the All-Stars.

FTBNL is proud to have announced the NEW Lin Brehmer Foundation To Be Named Later College Scholarship in Chicago.

Remembering Lin Brehmer

1954-2023

We lost a big-hearted, joyful, generous, important member of our family when Lin Brehmer left us for a better place on January 22, 2023. His legacy of giving and kindness will live on through our service to others that he made possible! Lin was the extraordinary EMCEE of all of our Chicago Hot Stove Cool Music shows at Metro and helped us raise millions of dollars that went directly to support young people and their families who are overcoming tremendous obstacles in Chicago, the city he loved. His values of generosity, kindness, joyfulness, gratitude and passion for music and baseball will always fuel our mission.
