Woodward Golf
& Country Club
Woodward Golf & Country Club was founded in 1916 by A.H. (Rick) Woodward, Sr. as the Employee’s Club of Woodward Iron Company and was designed by noted Birmingham sportsman Charlie Hall. Woodward Golf & Country Club is the oldest country club in Jefferson County that remains in its original location. However, modifications were made to the golf course and clubhouse in the 1970’s as a result of interstate construction. Noted architect Ward Northrup made further renovations to the course in 1986. We have a very nice driving range and it is open to all members and guests.
18 Holes with a Cart
Monday-Friday
$40.00 or play a quick nine after work Monday through Friday for $27, with the last tee time taken at 3:00 PM for 18 holes and 5:00 PM for 9 holes. Carts must be returned 15 minutes before sunset.

Special Group Discount Rate
Special Group Discount Rates - $33 Monday-Friday only, Groups must include 12 persons or more. Tee times must be booked in advance.
For Children
One Child, 10 years old and younger, plays for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult.
Junior Golfer
Junior Golfer Special (11 to 20 years old) $5 off any regular price round.
Spring Prices
We are open Monday through Sunday. Early tee times are available starting at 7 AM. Spring Hours - Pro Shop 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, last tee time at 5:00 PM. Carts must be returned 15 minutes before sunset. Grill 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
All rates include tax and golf cart fee*
Proper golf attire is required.

Thirteen years experience, taught under Hank Johnson at the Hank Johnson School of at Golf Bent Brook. Level 2 PGA Associate. Held clinics for Adults and Juniors. Built PGA junior league program at last golf course with 4 years of experience with PGA junior league.

- Woodward Golf & Country Club is located off Interstate 20/59 at exit 113, just 15 minutes from downtown Birmingham.
