HISTORY

In 1928, ten businessmen each contributed $100 toward the purchase of land that would become a nine hole course featuring prairie fairways and sand greens.  The W.P.A. built the log structure in 1930.  It wasn't until 1965 that grass fairways, irrigation and 82 trees were planted across the nine holes.

In 1972, Jack Morton donated 55 acres for the additional nine holes which was completed in 1977.  Further improvements have been made throughout the years, although it wasn't until 2002 that the original irrigation system from 1965 was replaced.  The course now sits on 142.9 acres.

"The course was exceptional.  The best I have seen it in 30 years.  If you are traveling through central Wyoming and like golf, you can't beat this deal.  The restaurant/bar is very good also."
