Welcome to Gloucester, the Jewel of Cape Ann

index1 Cape Ann Camp Site is located 30 miles northeast of Boston in the historic city of Gloucester. Established in 1949, Cape Ann Camp Site is a family owned and operated business built on the knowledge that the vacation is only as good as its destination — and you really can’t get any better than this small fishing village on the coast of Massachusetts.

Gloucester, the jewel of Cape Ann, is both America’s Fishing Port and the Whale Watch Capital of the World. Avid historians and weary vacationers are equally charmed by its antiquity and its beauty. If sun-bathing on one of our many white-sand beaches wears you out, visit beautiful Rockport for a day of shopping or take a boat trip around the harbor. If you have a few days, hunt for buried treasures in the local antique shops or take the kids to Salem for a good old-fashioned witch trial. Gloucester offers a number of fun and educational attractions and Cape Ann Camp Site is in the center of it all.

index2-1Unlike many campgrounds in business today, Cape Ann Camp Site was established around nature, not over it. Therefore, each of its 200 plus sites are unique. Whether you have an RV and would like a full hookup site with a water view or you have a simple tent and love the shade, Cape Ann Camp Site has a spot for you, your family and your pet. Every wooded site comes with a ready-made fireplace and picnic table. We also have six toilet and shower buildings, and a small campsite store stocked with ice and wood. We now also offer centrally located Wi-Fi at our office and Wi-Fi on big rig spots for Internet connectivity.

Camping today offers a family an inexpensive and fun way for many couples and families to travel. View the campground map of Cape Ann Camp Site.
