YARN/WIRE PREMIERES NEW CLASSICAL WORK at The Clark Art Institute
New music ensemble Yarn/Wire plays the U.S. premiere of Three Lines of Flight by composer Patrick Higgins, a multi-movement work of adventurous new classical music written for two pianos and two percussionists, featuring live electronic instruments by the composer, at the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Mass., on Sunday, April 21, at 4pm. @clarkart

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT`S DREAM: OPEN-CAPTION PERFORMANCES April 17th - 20th, Wednesday - Saturday, times vary Shakespeare and Company is presenting a series of open-caption performance of A Midsummer Night`s Dream, featuring the Northeast Regional Tour of Shakespeare. They will be open-caption performances with a large projection screen above the stage, displaying the text the actors are reciting via "super captions." The shows will be enjoyable for all, accessible for the deaf and hard-of-hearing, and sensory-friendly for those with sensory preferences. Those attending Saturday`s performance can also enjoy Shakespeare`s Birthday Bash, complete with delicious cake! $10 - $20.
