Our Story
|

|
In the late winter of 2006, we got the idea to make maple syrup from the many sugar maple trees in our yard. We started out with ten taps and boiled over an open fire outside. The hobby quickly became an obsession and we have been expanding ever since. We built a sugarhouse and currently have over 300 taps. We continue to boil over a wood fire, though now it's in a 2'x6' evaporator. We sell our syrup locally and help others get started in maple sugaring in their own back yards. |

Our
maple syrup is made right here in Woodville, Massachusetts, a village
of Hopkinton. We tap our trees each February, depending on weather
conditions and collect it daily - mostly by hand. Between 40 and 60
gallons of sap need to be boiled down to make one gallon of maple
syrup. Needless to say, it takes a lot of labor and time to make our
pure maple syrup, but one taste makes it all worthwhile.

Porch Pickup
Unfortunately, we can not host visitors or tours. If you would like to purchase our products outside of our market days, you can arrange for a porch pickup. | We will have our products available for sale as porch pickups all
year long by appointment only. Simply text or email your order. It's best if your order is specific. Let us know the sizes and the amounts you want and we'll get back to you with the price and the details for picking up. Please do not stop by unannounced. You can also find us at the Hopkinton Farmers Market and the Framingham Farmers Market. We post on Facebook when we will be there. Our Facebook page is public, so you do not need to be on Facebook to see it. We'll continue to post regular updates, photos, and videos of our activities including how the bees are doing on our Facebook page.
