New Patients:

WomanCare currently has a waiting list for new acupuncture patients. We anticipate being able to book new acupuncture patients once again in mid-August 2024. Sooner appointments may be possible on a case-by-case basis for pregnant patients, or for acute situations. We are still accepting new herbal therapy patients. Thank you so much for your interest in the practice. Please call if you’d like to be added to our waitlist, or if you need a referral to other great acupuncturists in the area.

COVID-19:

MASKS: As of 2.12.23, the NYS Dept. of Health no longer recommends universal masking in most outpatient health care settings. Instead, practices are advised to adjust based upon current levels of community transmission. While levels are low in Saratoga County, masks will be optional in our office. Masks are still welcome and encouraged for anyone who is immune-compromised. Masks are still required if you have had a known Covid exposure within the past 5 days. Additionally, your acupuncturist will remain masked while in treatment spaces, by request or medical indication.

SCREENING: For the sake of our most vulnerable patients, WomanCare will maintain a 10 day period of caution after a positive Covid test and/or development of possible Covid symptoms. Please call to reschedule if you have symptoms of acute illness, or have had Covid within 10 days of your appointment.

We will continue to monitor local health department data and state guidance to adjust best practices. We are grateful for your patience and understanding as we navigate this terrain together!

We are pleased to offer a small, on-site powdered herbal extract pharmacy, which allows us to prescribe same-day, small batches of customized herbal formulas. Our high-quality, full-spectrum herb powders are produced by Tianjiang Pharmaceutical in a GMP certified factory, and distributed stateside by Treasure of the East, in Ithaca, NY.
