Orange Blossom Salon

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at Orange Blossom Salon. Lisa is extremely sweet and truly wants to give her customers what they want. She also keeps it real and won't try to sell you some hair fad product like every other hair salon.

I personally have a very particular hairstyle that I like (only one layer) and I have actually been turned down by other hair salons. Lisa not only worked with me to get what I was envisioning, but she did the best job possible. I am very satisfied with my visit to Orange Blossom and will be a loyal customer.

I often get my hair done at La Costa but wanted an alternative place and decided I would try this place, based on the good reviews. I was so glad I did!

Lisa, the owner with an English accent, answered the phone and they were able to take me the same day. I grabbed Joey the dog, threw him into his car seat, and off I went to Leucadia, about 7 minutes from my house.

The 835 salon is so cute. It's a converted bungalow and is very airy and spacious, with lavender walls and cool accents. Very hip, young and now, pop/rock playing on the sound system. Everyone stopped to pet Joey, because of course he's so cute no one can resist him.

My hair stylist was Carlie, who was absolutely adorable. Young and cheerful, but best of all I loved how she did my hair! While I was there I was listening to a man telling how his entire family now goes to Orange Blossom.

The absolutely only minor thing that some people might not like is that it's right along the train track so you do hear the trains going by, sometimes with that loud whistle. But it doesn't bother me a bit and I WILL be back, y'all.

Good parking right in front. There's also another salon that Lisa owns at 815, which is apparently also very nice and supposed to be "a little quieter." I didn't find 835 noisy .... whatever. If you want it "quieter" I guess go to the 815 salon.

All in all an absolutely delightful experience.

I love Orange Blossom salon! When I moved to Cardiff from North Park last year, I needed a new salon. After asking around to all my North County friends, I decided to go with their recommendation = Orange Blossom.

After reading the reviews on Yelp, I decided to see if I could get an appointment with Carlie for a cut and color. I got an appointment for the following weekend and Carlie didn't disappoint!

I showed her a bunch of different magazine pics, but also told her I'm a mom of an active toddler so any style can't be too high maintenance.

She did a highlights and cut combo that has proven to be easy to maintain... by Carlie of course!

I'm not the most loyal clients. I have no problem bouncing from stylist to stylist if I see a deal or get a reference from someone else. But the affordability and laid back atmosphere (did I tell you they give you wine?), along with great hairstyling by Carlie will make me loyal to Orange Blossom for a while.

I adore this place so much! Jamie Rosa is such a great hairdresser .. The vibe in the salon is cute and welcoming. It's light and airy. I'm a wedding coordinator and send all my bridal parties to the salon!

I love this salon! The women and atmosphere of the salon is so laid back, fun, and very professional. The stylist I go to see is Carlie. She is very sweet and is amazing at what she does.
First of all making an appointment is very easy and convenient. Also Carlie makes you feel extremely comfortable while chatting and taking care of your hair. She provides great feed back and recommendations about different ideas and styles for your hair. The end result is always amazing! I am extremely pleased with Carlie and will continue to return for her to do my hair!

Can't say enough good things about Carlie! I went in with a really botched haircut, some people just do not know what do do with curly hair, and she was able to fix it and add some beautiful color for summer!

I'm stoked on the cut and color for a fresh summer look :)

It's super scary to get your hair cut by anyone new, especially after a bad experience somewhere else, but Carlie will take the time to hear you out and give you her recommendations. Absolutely LOVE my hair!

The shop owner Lisa is also adorable and the shop itself is precious. Go check it out!

My first time with Emily was relaxing and efficient. She did a great job and after waiting a few weeks to see how my hair would look, I've decided to go back for haircuts in the future!

She listened, suggested, delivered. Great job and a great person.

I love everyone at Orange Salon! Lisa is amazing with color and cut and so well educated.. she is from Britain where they take their cosmetology schooling to another level. I alway have a wonderful experience and my hair looks great!!!

I called this Salon Friday to schedule an appt., the scheduling wasn't working, someone was supposed to call back and did not. I've called 5x today, no one answers and voicemail is full. Are you no longer opened for business?

I'm really glad that my regular stylist, Dana, came over to this salon. It is really cute, relaxing, and hip. A ton of the former Detour girls work here now (including Dana), and it's just a quieter, more casual environment. As has been mentioned, you can sip on iced tea or something of the sort while hanging out... and maybe one of the girls will even bring in a bunny (true story). I love, love, love Dana and her magnificent hair-cutting abilities, but I've also been to Jaime and Sierra when they worked at Detour, and they do amazing jobs as well, so I feel confident that the salon hires really top-notch stylists. Fresh and comfortable, I love the salon and the results.

Oh, and I believe my hair cut was $55 or $60, FYI.
