Lloyd Moss Guitar & Voice Lessons

Lloyd is a phenomenal teacher and has a true passion for music. I've been taking voice lessons with him for a few months now and have really enjoyed the process. Previously I had zero background in singing and was always very uncomfortable doing it. However, I felt at ease with Lloyd right from the start and feel that now, after just a few short months, I can carry a tune and sound halfway decent, something I never thought I'd be able to say. Llyod is very attentive, truly cares about his students and overall is just a great guy. His prices are very reasonable too. I'd highly recommend Lloyd for anyone interested in singing or guitar.

Lloyd is a phenomenal teacher. He has structure for making sure you cover the fundamentals in a practical (and fun) way, while also being attuned to what you want to learn as a player, and the songs you want to learn as well. He prepares before the sessions so he has good material to talk about. He sends documents after the sessions of what you were taught.

He's personable, with a fun and enthusiastic energy. I set up in Los Angeles and can't believe my luck in finding him. Currently doing 2 one hour sessions per week.

Lloyd is a great teacher. He listens and tailors lessons so you learn songs you like, while also giving you the knowledge and guidance you need to be a good player. It makes learning fun and also inspires the desire to get better and learn more. He goes above and beyond to give you the resources you need, too, so you feel supported along the way. Lloyd Moss has been above my expectations I'm a lover of music and the process learning but I'm a beginner and need a teacher with patient. Lloyd has been humble and giving me ideal examples on how to approach learning the guitar and in just over a month I'm enjoying the process of learning music. I really can't imagine having a better instructor @ a reasonable price, definitely recommended. I don't believe I have had this much fun learning how to play an instrument in my life. Lloyd makes it very enjoyable and creates a warm inviting environment. He answers every question with great knowledge and is constantly patient. Never do I feel like I am frustrating or irritating him when I am having a difficult time getting certain things down. Always patient, always learning.

I hit the jackpot when I choose Lloyd to be my guitar instructor after a quick Yelp search in my area. I've wanted to learn the guitar my whole life. I've owned a guitar for about 10yrs. It was time! I have do it yourself DVDs, I know there's YouTube but I wanted REAL lessons and Lloyd is the REAL deal. After the first lesson I knew I was in the right place. He even restrung my guitar with nylon strings for me. (Tip for the newbies: get nylon strings!) A fire was lit and I was ready to give 110%. I like physical handouts and he gave me handouts and emailed me the PDFs. I like to break things down and he does that. I like a little quick cheat now and again and on my second lesson when I said I wanted to learn Happy Birthday for my Great Aunt, he taught me a basic way I'd be able to play it for her a few days later! I was amazed! I started lessons 6-7wks ago and I already know a few songs and all the basics to keep thriving. My 2 toddlers and my sore fingertips only let me play so much each day but I love to practice. I'm so excited to see how good I can get for the holidays and to play for my family. Rock on!
