"The Wild Ones" sprang forth from a vision of a cowgirl sketched in the realms of inspiration, beckoning a delve into the daring spirits of frontier women who defied norms. Each creation bears the name of these bold pioneers, honoring their untamed legacy.
WESTERN GEMS Collection
The Western Gems series bloomed from my newfound passion for equine companions. Within this enchanted realm, each majestic horse bears a name woven from the threads of gemstones, accompanied by a brief tale revealing the essence of the gem it embodies..

Behold, 'Look Closer,' a tapestry woven from the threads of Georgia O'Keeffe's essence. In a mystical dance with the artist's spirit, photographer Fatima Donaldson and I journeyed to Santa Fe, retracing the footsteps where Georgia once tread. Amidst the whispers of the wind, we crafted our own masterpieces and melded our souls to birth collaborative wonders.

Raised in Brooklyn, NY, I was introduced to art at eight years old and took classes in a brownstone basement. Transitioning to high school, I applied and got accepted to the High School of Art and Design in NYC after submitting a handmade portfolio. Despite pursuing a different career path for 22 years on Wall Street and 20 years in the energy industry in Houston, TX, I rekindled my passion for art in 2017. I delved into self-teaching various art forms including digital, abstract, sculpting, fabric, pottery, glass, paper, and Fumage (soot). Currently, I am a member of Archway Gallery in Houston, TX, and Ardest Gallery in The Woodlands, TX. Gratefully, I have been chosen to participate in multiple Juried Shows. This artistic journey is just starting.
