Erica was recently published with Allen Ginsberg, Anaïs Nin, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, and Ethan Hawke in the book Shakespeare and Company, Paris: A History of the Rag & Bone Shop of the Heart. An MFA in creative writing from SDSU, she spent years as pop music critic for the San Diego Tribune and considers her mentorship by the late-great Charles Bukowski a career highlight.

Her film work (featuring Helen Hunt, Anthony Edwards, Jason Alexander and Maggie Wheeler) has aired on Showtime Networks, and she writes for Marriott Hotels and Sugarwish.   Erica's humorous gift book, Hip Hip Rosé!, was recently published as the first title in the Sipping Sisterhood Series.

Grateful for strong coffee and the ability to work from home in her pajamas, Erica is happiest playing ping pong and Clash records in the garage with her husband Charles, and her daughters Natasha and Audrey, in Newport Beach, California.

A whimsical "children's book for consenting adults", Hip Hip Rosé! is Erica's first title in the Sipping Sisterhood Series.   It was co-authored with Alli Q DiVincenzo and illustrated by Sarah Latham.

“Every mom, woman and wine lover will appreciate this fruit-forward tale.   A truly hilarious take on the pink color palette.”

Up next: No Champagne, No Gain and Runaway Cabernet

A former "tumbleweed" at the famed Paris bookstore, Erica's writing appears in Shakespeare and Company, Paris: A History of the Rag & Bone Shop of the Heart along with Allen Ginsberg and Ethan Hawke, and edited by Krista Halverson.

Available on Amazon (because, well, what isn't?) and also at Shakespeare & Company's website

“A glorious volume thick with old photographs, newspaper clippings, and reminiscences.”

-- Jan Gardner, the Boston Globe

Get away to the Garden Isle via Erica's blog for Marriott's Koloa Landing Resort on the sunny South Shore of Kauai.   It's all about seeking sea turtles, random Jeep adventures, and indulging in a mai tai or three...

She also writes the resort's website.

Aloha!
