We utilize state of the art equipment including Pulse Oximetery, ECG, and blood pressure monitoring, fluids and IV catheters for every surgery. The direct release program is designed to allow pets to do the quarantine period at home Prior to arriving in Hawaii. After your pet receives all of the required vaccines to come to Hawaii, the most important being Rabies as Hawaii is a Rabies free state, they have to have their blood drawn by your veterinarian and then it is sent in to Kansas State University where they will run a specialized test to measure the titers for Rabies in your pet’s blood. KSU will then send the results to the state of Hawaii and the 30 day waiting period begins.
