Our goal here at Daniel Doke is to have a wall portrait in every home.

Preserve your memories of your children…they grow so fast.

Which portrait style fits your family the most?

It is easy as 1-2-3

Parents of busy families love how simple our process can be.

1. Let’s Chat
We will discuss what is important to you, portrait styles, who will be in the portrait, clothing, and where to place your wall art in your home.

2. You will have fun and enjoy the session
The session is the easiest and least stressful step in beautiful portraits. We will create images that are real but with refinement, bringing out the best in each person. (Especially mom!)

3. The best part is seeing your family as art.
About a week after your session we will project your portraits and walk you through our easy process of choosing your wall art. Your finished wall art will be cherished for generations.

What to expect

The experience you will have:
• A consultation with complete details on what you need to know
• A day full of memories with laughter and joy
• Professional posing with a relaxed style
• Confidence that your family will look their very best
• A portrait to cherish and look back on for many years to come

IMPASTO [im-pas-toh]  Our flagship portrait finish
(The layering of light, texture and paint.)

An Impasto is a piece of art that makes a physical statement, which is why you will find it most often in expressive artwork.  Daniel will use layering of light, texture and paint to help your portrait come to life, give weight to his brilliant colors, movement to his landscapes and emotion to his subjects. Daniel transforms areas of the image into an impression of painted art.  The resulting image is printed on the finest artist canvas and then meticulously hand painted by Daniel with contoured brush strokes and a rich, luminous finish.  This piece of art will rival the masters of old.

Love Notes

“Hold on tight and let go…… The Black and White Relationship portraits capture the essence of this time in my life. Since my daughters were born, they have been the center of my world. Everything I did was for them. Today, I looked at my girls and can’t believe how time has flown by. I am so proud of them. They know they always have my love and support no matter where they are. I want to hold on tight to them, but now it is time to let go. I will always remember our special relationships and how it feels to hold them close.” ~ Dolores

My portrait captures the emotional essence of my family: love, protectiveness, togetherness. There is one that is like a spiritual x-ray of our bonds - a delicious group hug -- and looking at it makes me feel so happy." ~ Lauren

“OMG Dan!! I’m crying right now. These are so gorgeous!! Mine and Barry’s mouths literally just fell to the floor!!! Thank you, thank you. You are amazing. We had so much fun. I’m seriously crying right now I can not believe it. You are so awesome!” ~ Danielle

By displaying the portraits of your children on your walls you are able to send a key message to them that they are an important part of your family. This builds a sense of belonging and a greater sense of confidence.
