Iryna really captured special moments with Vance and the girls in a way that was just really remarkable. Each step of the journey of having our portraits done was a reveal, and the whole thing was exciting and fun.
When we were taking the pictures, in typical kid fashion they were playing, being distracted. Iryna really didn't try to change that, she just worked with it. I think the kids will be shocked that in that fun and games came out these beautiful, beautiful pictures.
Iryna was not posing us or telling us to do stuff. We were just being us, and I think that’s what was captured in those pictures and that’s why they’re beautiful. Capturing the moments and spending time with the kids – it was a beautiful experience. They’re still talking about it.
You have family pictures sitting here and there but these are something different. I think it’s the scale and the size and the process we went through to have the pictures that makes them particularly special, and really timeless.
