We welcome you to our beautiful farm in Westport, Massachusetts.

And don’t forget that we share our farm with one of the East Coast’s preeminent wineries, Westport Rivers. Make your visit a perfect day trip!

You and your bestest friend are welcome to celebrate the magic of beer, lawns, people and all kinds of interesting things to sniff with some simple thing to keep in mind:
- Please keep your canine pal leashed at all times.
- Come with everything you need to clean up after poochie poo.
- Some indoor spaces are off limits due to local regulations. Please just be sensitive of this.

Private Event Rentals
At Russell Family Farms and Buzzards Bay Brewing, we offer you and your guests a unique coastal farm experience. Our farm has over 300 acres of permanently preserved working farmland and over 100 acres of protected woodland. With expansive lawns and gorgeous rolling hills of working land, there’s plenty to explore in both flavors and views.

The Path to Off Leash Freedom
The Long Line is a quintessential yet overlooked tool to quickly train your dog as your outdoor adventure buddy! We will show you how!
The Run Down
Expert dog trainer, Peter Ciancarelli, will show you the simple and effective method of utilizing a long line to get your dog ready to be your offleash adventure companion. We will focus on developing a reliable recall, handler focus, and perfecting trail etiquette. All three of these being the essential builing blocks of a well behaved and undercontrol off leash dog. The objective of this workshop is not a free for all dog play session but to help owners develop skills with effective tools to feel comfortable taking their dog on outdoor adventures while developing skills to eventually have them offleash reliable.
Access to the outdoor area of the brewery will be avaible after the training session where beer can be purchased and consumed by all over the age of 21!
Pre-Event Check List
-Must be at least one handler for every dog (training will not work if one owner brings multiple dogs)
-15-20ft long leashes should be brought by the attendees (a few will be available for purchase if needed)
-Good quality E-collars very much welcomed and will be shown how to utilize safely and effectively
-Please wear close toed shoes (We will be in a field and walking quite a bit)
-Bring a high value food reward for the dog

Join us for Open Mic Jam Sesh Wednesdays at the brewery from 5-7:30pm! Bring your instrument(s) and/or singing voice for a fun, all-ages jam session in the Kettle!! All are welcome! 🤙🏻
