Hahn Founder's Pinot Noir V22 750ML

Vibrant aromas of red and dark cherry, raspberry and plum with subtle touches of vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate, silky tannins and excellent acid balance are joined by delicate flavors of red cherry and raspberry, culminating with notes of earthiness on a long and lingering finish. Our Pinot Noir grapes were primarily grown in the Arroyo Seco appellation of Monterey County, which sits on a gravelly alluvial plain beneath the Santa Lucia Mountains. Cool winds from Monterey Bay ensure gradual ripening and development of vibrant flavors. The rocky soils allow excellent drainage, enhancing intensity and promoting balanced ripeness and acidity

Hahn Founder's Cabernet Sauvignon V22 750ML

Inviting aromas of dark cherry and blackberry are complemented by hints of vanilla, leather and toasted oak. Rich and robust tannins frame flavors of blackberry, blueberry and ripe red fruit with a touch of vanilla and spice, culminating with a smooth and opulent finish. Our Cabernet Sauvignon is grown in outstanding vineyards throughout California, primarily the warmer climate of Lodi. Here grapes ripen fully and develop ample cherry and black currant flavors on the vine. Once harvested we ferment our grapes in French oak, enhancing the wine’s mouthfeel and contributing a subtle spicy aroma.

Hahn Founder's Chardonnay V22 750ML

Generous aromas of citrus and tropical fruit are accompanied by hints of vanilla and honey. Bright acidity welcomes the palate, leading to a perfect balance of pineapple and lemongrass with hints of butter and toast, culminating in a lingering, clean finish. Chardonnay grapes were grown in outstanding vineyards throughout California, primarily in Monterey County appellation where cool breezes from the Pacific Ocean slow down ripening and extend hang times. These unique conditions ripen the grapes perfectly, creating well-balanced, flavorful wines.

Hahn Founder's Merlot V21 750ML

Our 2021 Hahn Founder's Merlot expresses aromas of black cherry, red ripe plum, with hints of vanilla and spice. The palate mimics those fruits with a touch of blackberry, mocha and velvety tannins, while a rich and luscious mouthfeel tie the whole package together.

Hahn SLH wines showcase our four prized Santa Lucia Highlands estate vineyards: Lone Oak, Doctor's, Smith & Hook. Only a few barrels of each varietal are deemed worthy of these select blends, chosen to showcase the appellation’s forward aromatics, rich mouthfeel, distinct mineralogy and beautifully balanced acidity.

Here at Hahn Family Wines, we’re proud to be a family-owned-and-operated winery. Our founders Nicky and Gaby Hahn first came to the Santa Lucia Highlands in the late 1970s, and the Swiss-born couple quickly recognized the region’s potential to produce wines of exceptional nuance and character, worthy of attention on the world stage.
